10 Advice to Meditation. . .
1. Start assignments with some curiosity about the material and a positive attitude toward learning. 2. Designate a place where you go only to study. Use proper lighting. 3. Identify your distractions. Find ways to decrease them or to postpone them until study breaks (e.g., taking the phone off the hook, turning off instant messenger). 4. Decrease noises around you while studying. If you need some background music it should be soft. Keep the TV off. 5. Use "active study" techniques: sit straight in a chair at a desk, start out with questions about the material, outline chapters, underline key phrases after reading a section, write notes in margins, ask yourself what you have learned. 6. Divide your work into smaller manageable tasks that can be completed in a short period of time. Push yourself to complete one small task, then move on to the next task. Focus on one small task at a time. 7. Use times of peak alertness for studying difficult or less interesting topics. When you are tired or hungry concentration will be lowered. 8. When your mind starts to wander come up with some cue words to say to yourself (e.g., "Focus." "Get back on task.") to focus your concentration again. 9. Take breaks when you have completed tasks or when you feel concentration has decreased. Breaks should be approximately 10-15 minutes. 10. If you have other assignments or issues on your mind write them down on a "to do" list or take a small step to deal with them. Then get back to focusing on the task at hand. Best of luck.. . . .

I love You...
Lisa loved basketball Friends and parties too And when it came to painting That's all she wanted to do She painted everything she saw
Birds, flowers, and the sky Some days she sat at her window And painted everything that passed her by But lately she'd been feeling woozy Her muscles ached a lot And her parents got kind of worried So they took her to the doc The doctor took a couple of tests To see if everything was okay Then the nurse came out with a look of sadness And this is what she had to say; "I'm sorry but you've got leukemia," "You've got about 3 months more." Then Lisa got up and ran out of the room And slammed the office door She ran down the street screaming And cried her eyes out dry And stayed up all night Wondering what it's like to die Her parents held her tightly
And said, "We love you," "We'll make your last few months the greatest," "We'll do anything for you." So Lisa and her parents moved to Florida To live by the sea Because Lisa loved the ocean And when she dies, that's where she wanted to be She spent her days painting And horseback riding in by the bay But one day she met this guy And his name was Jay They collected seashells together And talked about all kinds of things And then one day while walking
He handed her a ring It said, “I love you, “Which brought tears to Lisa's eyes And when he put it on her finger She began to cry He asked her what was wrong, and she replied, "I've got leukemia, and about a month more." He said," No matter what, I love you," "And no matter what, you are the one I adore." So they spent every day together And swam in the Atlantic all day But Lisa was getting weaker And it was hard for her stay awake So one day Lisa painted her picture And gave it to Jay She said, "I want you to remember me," "Even when I leave this place." But one day while they were walking And searching for seashells in the sand Lisa collapsed and started to lose her breath And said to Jay, "Please hold my hand."
"I love you more than anyone," You are my only true love,"
"But now my time is up, “And I'll watch over you from above," Then Lisa's body was lifeless as she lay in Jay's arms And he sat there all day And kept her safe from harm!

One glass of a Milk.....
One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you? "You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness." He said..... "Then I thank you from my heart." As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit. Year’s later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he hears the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case. After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill.
She read these words.....
"Paid in full with one glass of milk"
(Signed)
Dr. Howard Kelly.
Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed:
"Thank You, God, that Your love has spread abroad through human hearts and hands."
Now you have two choices.
You can send this page on and spread a positive message.
Or ignore it and pretend it never touched your heart.

Unforgiveness...
Unforgiveness
As unforgiveness to the soul;
A heart that's torn asunder,
With forgiveness becomes whole.
A single kind word spoken
Means more than countless words;
The three words, "I forgive you,"
Are all that need be heard.
To a soul that has been wounded,
Like a healing, cooling balm;
Forgiveness soothes and comforts,
Till at last the soul is calm.
For the soul that seeks forgiveness,
When forgiveness can't be found;
It struggles vainly every day,
To hear that simple sound.
The power in those three kind words,
Can heal a heart that's broken;
But that heart cannot begin to heal,
As long as words remain unspoken.
Compassion in its purest sense,
Reside in those three words;
The three words, "I forgive you,"
Are all that need be heard?
As unforgiveness to the soul;
A heart that's torn asunder,
With forgiveness becomes whole.

I can,t say many time...
Many were the times I should have said "I love you"
but those words were not easy for me to say.
For everyone I ever loved and told I loved
pulled back from me and ran away.
That made saying "I love you" all the more difficult to say.
Many were the times when harsh words prevailed
where words of kindness did not endure.
For every time I said words against you
I knew that my heart was not pure.
And that made saying "I love you" that much harder for sure.
Many were the times I said "I love you"
after you were resting in the cold ground.
But many were the times I felt those words
when those simple words could not be found.
That made saying "I love you" a rope around me bound.
Many were the tears I cried for the loss of you
when you were not here to hear them said.
Such simple words those, "I love you"
that come so often now that you are dead.
And it's living without you that I now most dread.
Many are the heartaches I feel for you
when nobody knows the pain within.
I should have told you how much I love you
just to see the way it would make you grin.
But words unspoken nevertheless always resided within.
Words left unspoken, words like "I love you"
would have meant the world to your heart.
It's easy now to say how very much I love you
when we are nether worlds apart.
I always felt those words within me, but didn't know where to start.

Some Rules..
We always hear "the rules" from the female side. Now here are the rules from the male side.
1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us griping about you leaving it down.
2. Birthdays, Valentines, and Anniversaries are not quests to see if we can find the perfect present yet again!
3. Sunday = sports. It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.
4. Sometimes we are not thinking about you. Live with it.
5. Shopping is NOT a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way.
6. Crying is blackmail.
7. Don't cut your hair. Ever. Long hair is always more attractive than short hair. One of the big reasons guys fear getting married is that married women always cut their hair, and by then you're stuck with her.
8. We don't remember dates. Mark birthdays and anniversaries on a calendar. Remind us frequently beforehand.
9. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it!
10. Most guys own three pairs of shoes - tops. What makes you think we'd be any good at choosing which pair, out of thirty, would look good with your dress?
11. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.
12. Most guys own three pairs of shoes - tops. What makes you think we'd be any good at choosing which pair, out of thirty, would look good with your dress?
13. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor.
14. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 days.
15. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us. We refuse to answer.
